A pioneer in the creation of large multi-wick candles, Baobab Collection is constantly expanding its range, this year will be with a new collection of cosmetic products. Thus, they always seek to create refined objects with sophisticated fragrances designed as skin fragrances. This year, Baobab Collection takes us on a journey to Latin America with the Sand collection, which represents the great deserts of the continent. Indeed, the Sand Atacama edition represents the Chilean desert, Sand Siloli for the Bolivian desert, and Sand Sonora for the Mexican desert.
The mouth-blown glasses of the Siloli candles and fragrance diffusers feature shades of beige and brown on which horizontal lines form with small organic and random spots. Each glass is unique, because the sand color dissolves in the material according to the breath of the glassmaker. The dry woody scent of cedar and tonka bean takes us to the wide open spaces of an equatorial climate, with a hint of lime to give this scent an unusual freshness. The sophistication of olfactory materials blends with that of glass to make it a beautiful decorative and fragrant object.
Like the Siloli candles and diffusers, the Atacama edition is also made with mouth-blown glass, but this time with shades of gray that form horizontal strata, like stripes dotted with random spots. As for the citrus fragrance, it transports us thanks to citrus notes with a major accord of bergamot, followed by aromatic heart notes and myrrh in the base note.
The Sonora scented candle is embodied in a very sophisticated blown glass, just like Siloli and Atacama. The colors that form random lines on the glass are an explosion of refined shades that fade from celadon green to blue-grey shades. The spicy scent recalls the cinematic setting of the Mexican desert itself, Sonora, with a creative blend of saffron, myrrh and patchouli to scent your home with warm, spicy notes.
To end the journey, Baobab sends us to Mexico, a country full of culture, color and beauty. Mexican craftsmanship is reflected in its blown glass vases, referring to the embroidery so characteristic of the place, also inspired by one of the great references of the country, Frida Kahlo. With heart motifs that in Mexican culture have been used for years in a spiritual way to give thanks or make wishes. The scent of blackcurrant, freesia and cedar of the Baobab collection pays homage to this colorful and contrasting Latin earth.
