Fornasetti's creations revolve around the enigmatic and symbolic female face of the lyrical soprano Lina Cavalieri, considered by Piero Fornasetti to be perfection in terms of proportion, and who became the spearhead of the artist's creativity. Originally conceived as a simple series of six plates, the collection has grown over time to reach nearly 350 variations, applied to almost any type of object created by the studio.
